01 What is Augmented Reality (AR)?
Augmented Reality is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real world environment whose elements are ‘augmented’ by computer-generated perceptual information, ideally across multiple sensory modalities. In human words, it helps merge the real world and virtual world by using your smart devices to have virtual content overlay on top of reality , a way to put your imagination to real life with new technology.

101AR is a user-friendly editing platform (101AR Studio) initially allows teachers to smoothly create teaching materials containing AR content to drive experiential learning and to increase students’ engagement, while additionally allowing students to experience building projects with AR content at ease
03 What does 101AR do?
101AR is a combination of augmented reality (AR) web editor and viewing app.101AR Studio allows you to create your own AR content on web browser with only 3 steps: Upload, Edit and Publish. And then you can use your smart devices to view the AR content with 101AR App.
01 How do I view AR after I finish editing?
Download the free 101AR app for iOS, open it up and then enter the test code. Scan the image you have edited on 101AR studio.
02 Can I share my AR content?
Yes you can. Simply take a screenshot while you are viewing or share the test code.

Some troubleshooting tips for you:
- Wait for a few seconds, it may take some time to recognise;
- Check if you are connected to the Internet;
- Make sure you are entering the right test code with the right image;
- Try to hold the device steadily while scanning;
- Check if you are having the latest version of 101AR
01 What is 101AR Studio?
101AR Studio is a web-based and cloud based AR creation tool. You can easily create your own AR content with drag-and-drop anytime, anywhere.
02 Do I need to install software?
No, you don’t need to install software for 101AR Studio. You just need a computer which has Google Chrome installed and connects to the internet.
03 What is a tracker?
A tracker image is an image for triggering designated AR effects. An ideal tracker image should be meticulous and clear, with a variety of unique identification points and in high image quality.
04 What is the difference between project and content?
Projects is a folder that could contain no more than 10 trackers. Content is the file dedicates to one tracker and all of the AR effect of the tracker.
05 What is stay on screen?
“Stay on Screen” is a unique feature for images and videos. It allows AR effects to stay on screen even if user’s camera moves away from the tracker.
06 What type of content can I “AR”?

07 What if I don’t know how to build 3D models?
We have 3D model library that include a wide range of categories and they are always update with new elements.
08 What is courseware?
Courseware is educational content created by our content team with reference to HK education curriculum. We aim at saving time for teachers from preparing lesson and provide an interactive lesson to students. The courseware are mainly focused on Chinese, Chinese History, Mathematics and Integrated science for primary and junior secondary students.
09 Can I test my AR content before I publish?
Yes, you can. You could generate a test scan by clicking test and inputting the test code on 101AR App. And then you could experience the AR content and check if it meet your expectations.
